Campus Showdown – Usage & Collaboration Policy
1. Event Compliance & Cancellation Rights
Campus Showdown reserves full rights to cancel or postpone any event if it does not meet predefined quality standards, operational guidelines, or ethical conduct expected from collaborating college clubs.
In case of cancellation:
The college club must transparently communicate the accurate reason for cancellation to all players and stakeholders.
Any attempt to misrepresent the situation, spread false information, or defame Campus Showdown on social, digital, or physical platforms may result in immediate legal action.
2. Brand Usage & Intellectual Property Protection
All Campus Showdown logos, names, brand assets, taglines, templates, and designs are the intellectual property (IP) of Campus Showdown.
No individual or institution may use, edit, or circulate Spotwon’s brand assets without prior written approval.
Once granted, the club must adhere to Campus Showdown IPR usage policy, including logo sizing, color standards, and brand tone across all channels.
3. Agreement Validity & Renewal
Upon collaboration approval, Spotwon will sign an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the college or its authorized club.
The MoU will be legally valid for one year from the signing date.
To continue collaboration, the agreement must be renewed annually with updated terms, mutually agreed by both parties.
4. Revenue Sharing & Transparency
If ₹3 Lakh eligibility criteria are unmet, revenue will be shared between Campus Showdown and the college club only after deducting all legitimate event expenses incurred by either party.
Revenue sharing will be conducted with full financial transparency, backed by event expense reports and payment records.
5. Data Privacy & Consent
Participant data collected via registration forms or QR submissions is protected under Campus Showdown Privacy Policy.
The college must not share, reuse, or store this data without consent from Campus Showdown and the users.
6. Code of Conduct & Disciplinary Measures
College clubs are expected to maintain a respectful and professional code of conduct before, during, and after the event.
Any behavior that disrupts the integrity of the tournament, promotes toxicity, or damages the experience for players or organizers may result in termination of the partnership.
7. Exclusivity Clause
Once a college club enters into a collaboration with Campus Showdown, it must not partner with or promote any other esports or gaming company for similar events during the active contract period without written permission.
This prevents conflict of interest and protects Campus Showdown event IP and brand exclusivity.
8. No Guarantee Clause
Campus Showdown does not guarantee event success, audience turnout, sponsorship, or profit.
All outcomes depend on mutual efforts, college involvement, and market response.
9. Force Majeure Clause
Campus Showdown shall not be held responsible for delays, rescheduling, or cancellations caused by events beyond control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or internet outages.
10. Non-Solicitation Clause
College clubs, coordinators, or volunteers must not solicit Campus Showdown staff, sponsors, or partners for independent projects or alternative events without official approval.
Violations may lead to immediate termination of the agreement and legal recourse.
11. Digital Media Rights
All video footage, photos, streams, interviews, and event content created during the event are owned by Campus Showdown.
Campus Showdown reserves the right to use such content for marketing, commercial, and promotional purposes across platforms without additional consent.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any legal dispute or disagreement will be subject to arbitration under Indian law, with jurisdiction limited to Pune District Court, unless otherwise stated in the agreement.
Both parties agree to settle issues amicably through negotiation before initiating legal proceedings.
13. Sponsor Control
Campus Showdown retains full authority to choose sponsors, media partners, and brand collaborators for the event.
Colleges may not onboard sponsors without written consent, especially if they conflict with existing Campus Showdown partners.
14. Player Data Privacy & Ownership
All player data collected during registrations, QR scans, or event participation is the exclusive property of Campus Showdown.
This data will be stored securely and used only for official Campus Showdown operations, communication, and verification.
Under no circumstances will this data be shared, sold, or disclosed to the partnering college club or any third party for personal, promotional, or external use.
Campus Showdown complies with applicable data protection laws and ensures confidentiality of all participant records.
